“Family Ties” presented by God’s Amazing Love Storytellers ​for “Young At Heart” Luncheon
The G.A.L.S. are a group of retired teachers who share about God’s Amazing Love through Bible Stories, hilarious skits, and praise music. Do you know that each decision we make has consequences or rewards that affect not only us, but also our families. We tie ourselves and our families to either curses or blessings. The story the G.A.L.S. will be sharing shows the power God has to give beauty for ashes. His forgiveness brings true happiness and relief from guilt. God protects those who are loyal to Him, but harshly punishes those who rebel and reject Him. In God’s forgiveness and love, there is peace and rest. Is that the tie you want for your family?  The G.A.L.S. will be presenting “FAMILY TIES” on Tuesday, September 19, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Dr. , Arlington, TX, 76017.

God is our Stronghold – Nahum 1:7

Do you have areas in your life that are everyday activities and seem to control your life? It could be something you encounter daily like your cluttered closet. Or, it could be the addiction to drugs, alcohol, or even chocolate. Strongholds can differ greatly but have common characteristics:

HOW TO RECOGNIZE STRONGHOLDS:

  1. Strongholds — They seem impossible to break.
  2. Strongholds are irrational — They don’t make sense. Example – A habit can make your life miserable but you continue.
  3. Strongholds are counterproductive. We think they are the easy way but actually cause difficulty.

August 20, 2017 – Book signing at NRHBC Library from 8:00 am until 12:00

The G.A.L.S. have five published books and will be signing books at the North Richland Hills Baptist Church Library on August 20, 2017, from 8:00 am. until 12:00 noon. Each book is 10.00.  All proceeds from the newest book, PRECIOUS PROMISES, go to the Evangelism Partners International ministry towards building the GALSO orphanage in Zambia, Africa. Come join us on Sunday!

The G.A.L.S. provided a meal at Cornerstone Assistance Network (CAN) for the “Prisoner Release” ministry today. CAN provides counseling and guidance for those released from prison to give them hope and to help them build a future. We had the privilege to pray with a young lady released today from prison who is seeking God for her future.
